As you would all mostly be aware, the pointy end of the season is upon us and that means 2 things finals (hopefully) and the annual vote counts for the best senior & junior players are due to take place.

After every match the captains or coaches of each team are asked to give votes to the players that they believe deserve them. Our voting structure is different than most as we have 10 max votes per match, 5 max players per match and 5 max votes per player. These votes are then tallied and scrutinized by a crack team and then read on vote count night where the winners will be announced.

The night will kick off with the Semi Final Squads training from around 5pm. Dinner will then be served at 7:30 (Cam’s $5 SmashBurgers on the menu). Then straight into the counts with the McGary/Kenealy up first followed by the announcement of the Semi Final Team(s) and then onto the Doug McDonald count.

I hope to see as many of you there as possible even if it is just to come up and have a drink and support the boys that will be running out to represent East Box Hill in a Semi Final the following Saturday.
